The professional recognition, assessment, and prevention of indoor risks in relation to MOLD, POLLUTANTS, electromagnetic fields and radiation is the task of the experts in the Professional Association of German Building Biologists VDB e. V. As the term "building biology" is not protected, our members have a special requirement for their qualification certificates in order to ensure that work is carried out professionally and at the high technical level aimed for by the VDB using scientifically sound methods and according to the rules of technology in the interest of the customers. This requires ongoing quality assurance measures within the framework of a structured quality management system with clear instructions and rules. Our members have subjected themselves to an extensive VDB self-commitment to quality assurance.
