The Working Group of Ecological Research Institutes e.V. (AGÖF) is a nationwide umbrella organisation of independent consulting and service companies founded in 1986. Its members are experts, surveyors and laboratories specialising in "indoor pollutants and moulds". They offer consulting services, pollutant measurements, laboratory analysis, remediation support, pollutant mapping as well as product testing and certification. The core topic is the search for and development of solutions to problems of interior hygiene. The association offers its members a platform for professional exchange, for making contacts and working on joint projects. Orientation values and guidelines have been developed and research projects implemented. Specialist meetings, AGÖF congresses and its own comparative laboratory measurements promote further training and quality assurance for members. The AGÖF is represented in various bodies and committees.
